Sazy's photographs portrays Ehoumou during a consultation at night while the nganga is under the influence of iboga (Tabernanthe iboga). During the initiations, the people of the village know the nganga will be under the influence of iboga and in the Bwiti Missoko-gonde you have a consultation period at the end of the initiations. People come to consult the nganga to discover why they are ill.
