This forum brings together a unique combination of activists, traditional healers, scientists and medical experts with experience in the use of iboga, the plant used in African religion or ibogaine, its purified pharmaceutical product in healing practices and in the treatment of addiction.
The politics that influence the availability of ibogaine will also be discussed. Heroin and cocaine can virtually be found everywhere but, ibogaine, proposed as an effective treatment remains almost unavilable. An extensive discussion period open to both the presenters and the audience will allow dialogue on all issues.
