The Yippie Museum will be presenting free screenings of two ibogaine documentary films: "Ibogaine: Rite of Passage" by Ben de Loenen and "Detox or Die" by David Graham Scott.
Producer/Director Ben de Loenen presents his
magnificent documentary. The film was shot on three continents in six countries detailing Bwiti Rites in
Gabon, ibogaine therapies in Mexico as well as, scientist, patient and Bwiti nganga (doctor/priest)
interviews providing a total perspective of the ibogaine world.
An amazing film. The best of the ibogaine genre. view trailer
Filmmaker David Graham Scott has produced an autobiographical film depicting
an intense view of the world of heroin addiction and ibogaine redemption. The scenes of multi-generational addiction
and intravenous heroin use provide images not ordinarlly seen. Scott's transformation out of the world of
heroin addiction through the use of ibogaine is representative of ibogaine effects and provides insite into the
reasons that persons dependent on opioid narcotics have demanded access to ibogaine as a readily available
medication for decades. Detox or Die is available as streaming video
